National Apprenticeship Week in Minnesota: Nov. 2-8, 2015

Apprenticeship WeekNational Apprenticeship Week was celebrated throughout Minnesota Nov. 2-8, 2015. It was an opportunity for the apprenticeship community to tell their stories about apprenticeship and share with businesses, industry, labor, education, career-seekers, community-based organizations, students and workers the advantages of developing careers through adoption of the apprenticeship model. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry toured and visited programs during the week including:

  • Guadalupe Alternative Programs (GAP) -- West St. Paul
  • St. Cloud Sheetmetal -- St. Cloud
