International Residential Code
The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry requests comments on its possible amendment to Minnesota Rules, chapter 1309, International Residential Code. The Department is considering rule amendments that incorporate by reference the 2018 edition of the International Residential Code, with amendments, and any other amendments that are necessary to administer and enforce the code for residential construction.

The department did not receive 25 requests for hearing by the end of the comment period on Oct. 26, 2019. The hearing scheduled for Nov. 4, 2019, has been cancelled.
