This is a reminder from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) that the workers’ compensation assessment report is due April 1.

The information reported will be used to calculate the assessments that must be paid by Aug. 1, 2026, and Feb. 2, 2027. Insurers and self-insured employers that are liable for the assessment will receive an invoice approximately 30 days prior to the payment due dates.

If you have already submitted your assessment report, disregard this reminder.

You can confirm your submission by using the following steps.

  1. Go to the SCF Assessment History tab.

  2. Open the assessment ID for 2026

  3. Verify the Total Benefit Reported and the Report Submission Date fields are populated. If these fields are filled, your report has been successfully received.
