Options for mediating workers’ compensation matters at DLI

As workers' compensation professionals continue to look for efficiencies in their claim work, DLI would like to remind the community that the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) unit offers experienced mediation services at no cost to the parties. 

ADR arbitrators are also trained mediators. Parties can choose a specific person to mediate, or can select among those available on a given day, even on short notice. The meeting can take place in multiple formats including by phone, virtually, in person at the DLI office or at a law firm. ADR mediators can help parties attempt resolution of some or all disputed issues on a claim. They also provide interpreter services at no cost.
