ADR Outreach to Medical Community

On May 12, 2026, the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) unit will be presenting to members of the medical community at the 2026 Day with the Payers event at the Heritage Center in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. This event, hosted by the Healthcare Leaders Association of Minnesota, will gather Minnesota payers to provide updates on their programs and products, medical and payment policies and claims filing tips.  

Brian Mak, Jim Nethercut and Patti Provencher, of the DLI’s ADR unit, will be offering a panel discussion to help medical providers understand the dispute-resolution services offered by the Workers’ Compensation Division (customer assistance, dispute certification, administrative conferences, mediation, Help Desk and Office of the Workers’ Compensation Ombudsman) and how they can engage those services to resolve billing issues efficiently.
