Northern Minnesota Carpenters and Millwrights

Overview

Applications are accepted year-round. Interested applicants must receive a letter of intent to hire from a signatory contractor. Veterans involved in Helmets to Hardhats may receive direct entry and may not need a letter of intent to hire.

Interested applicants must then:

  1. Obtain letter of intent to hire.

  2. Fill out a training center application.

  3. Fill out a local union application.

  4. Pay initiation fee and first three months of union dues to union local (approximately $153 but will vary based on union).

There is no application fee or aptitude test.
