Overview

Applications are taken year-round. Contractors will hire based on labor demands.
All applications are submitted online. There is a $40 application fee.

Application timeline is dependent on how long it takes applicants to send application information (ex. transcripts, etc...) but is estimated to take 1-3 weeks. Applicants may be hired and begin work before the apprenticeship application process is complete.

Aptitude tests are required, and the exam consists of high-school level algebra and reading comprehension. Tests are offered at the training center in Fridley. Schedule an aptitude test on the Minnesota Statewide Limited Energy website.
