Local 1 MN/ND Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Journeymen and Apprentice Training Trust

Overview
To join the registered apprenticeship program, interested individuals must first be employed by a signatory contractor. Contact Bricklayers Local 1 to receive a list of signatory contractors to seek employment with. Individuals who complete the free pre-apprenticeship training have 90% job placement rate that the Bricklayers Local 1 helps facilitate.

Application for the Brick/Pointer-Caulker-Cleaner Pre-apprenticeship Program opens in January for the program to begin in March.

Applications for Tile Finishing Program open in February for program to begin in May.

Applications for Brick/PCC program open in March for the program to begin in July.
All applications are digital and are distributed through the Bricklayers’ monthly E-Newsletter. Sign up for the E-newsletter or the Bricklayers’ contact request list on their website.
Applicants are contacted on a first come, first serve basis. There will be a casual phone interview and an online aptitude test. A valid driver’s license and transportation is required for success in this program.
