Recently, significant updates were made to Work Comp Campus, impacting the registration process for qualified rehabilitation consultant (QRC) interns, QRCs, QRC firms, and rehabilitation vendors. These updates were made following the adoption of amendments to Minnesota Rules, Chapter 5220, governing registration of workers’ compensation rehabilitation providers. Stakeholders can read about the updates as well as the adopted amendments in the Campus Connect June 2025 newsletter, available on the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) website.

Today, DLI wants to inform stakeholders of an additional update that has been made in Campus for QRC interns. As required by the rules, QRC interns must indicate if they are currently pursuing or have already completed certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) from the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification or as a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) from the Certification of Disability Management Specialist, and the date (or estimated date) of certification.

Refer to this quick reference guide to review all of the changes in Campus related to updated rules.
