Winona Health

Overview

Community health worker apprenticeships are posted on Winona Health’s career opportunities webpage as they become available.

Applicants who have not yet completed a community health worker certificate will be required to begin the certification process during their apprenticeship.

Program overview:  Financial support for educational costs will be provided, in addition to paid work time to complete coursework. Apprentices will work within a team of other apprentices and experienced community health workers within the Pathways Community HUB model and will receive referrals from the Winona Community HUB once initial onboarding is complete.

Winona Health CHW apprentices will work in community, clinic and hospital settings to support HUB program participants in navigating the social and healthcare systems and deliver relevant health education.
