Minnesota Association of Community Health Centers (MNACHC)
Overview
The Medical and Dental Assistant Apprenticeship Program is a free, 12-month program, designed to provide career opportunities and hands-on experience for anyone looking to advance their career while getting the chance to work at our community health centers.
Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
Recruiting: MNACHC is not directly involved in the hiring process as the 17 participating community health centers in Minnesota handle their own recruiting. Recruitment typically begins in September, when these health centers inform MNACHC of the number of apprentices they will be hosting in their respective clinics.
Apprentices: MNACHC typically accepts around 20 combined medical assistant and dental assistant apprentices each year.
