Accessibility for Buildings and Facilities

The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry requests comments on its possible amendment to Minnesota Rules, Chapter 1341, "Accessibility for Buildings and Facilities." The department is considering rule amendments that incorporate by reference chapter 11 of the 2018 edition of the International Building Code with amendments and section 305 of the 2018 edition of the International Existing Building Code with amendments. The department is also considering any other amendments necessary to administer and enforce the Minnesota Accessibility Code.

The department did not receive any requests for hearing by the end of the comment period on Aug. 28, 2019. The hearing scheduled for Oct. 4, 2019, has been cancelled.
