Rulemaking docket for Minnesota Rules Chapter 3801
Minnesota Rules, Chapter 3801, Licensing
The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry requests comments on its proposed amendments to Minnesota Rules, chapter 3801, “Electrical Procedures and Training.” The Department is proposing rules that update requirements for the approval of electrical equipment to eliminate outdated terminology and references, as well as update and clarify requirements for electrical permits. The proposed amendments also repeal parts 3801.3820 through 3801.3885 that are the requirements for the approval of electrical training programs. The Minnesota Board of Electricity has the authority to adopt requirements for the approval of electrical training programs and will adopt those requirements as amendments to chapter 3800 as a part of a contemporaneous rulemaking.
