Prior to June 1, 2009:
The chapters of the State Building Code below regulate energy efficiency in new buildings, additions to buildings, and buildings undergoing alterations. Chapter 7670 applies to residential buildings not covered by chapter 7676. Chapter 7672 applies to detached one & two family dwellings. Chapter 7674 applies to Multi-family residential buildings three stories or less. Chapter 7676 applies to all buildings except low-rise residential. Chapter 7678 governs thermal transmittance calculations and equipment efficiencies of all buildings.
