About the Sept. 14, 2026, update conference
The 2026 Minnesota Workers' Compensation Rehabilitation Provider Update Conference is a biennial event that serves as a summary of changes to rehabilitation rules, statutes, policies and other compliance-related issues to help rehabilitation providers stay up to date about Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) activities related to rehabilitation, as well as to maintain compliance with rehabilitation rules and statutes.
Attendance and participation in the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Rehabilitation Provider Update Conference is required of all qualified rehabilitation consultants (QRCs), QRC interns and placement vendors. Nonparticipation in the provider update may result in professional conduct and accountability discipline and may affect annual registration renewal with DLI.
Registration for the event was open Aug. 1 through Aug. 30, 2026. DLI monitored attendance at the live event and reached out to those not in attendance with links and instructions for completion of the training following the live event.
Four continuing education units (CEUs) for both Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) and Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) will be available for this training.
Registration
All participants must have registered and paid online, regardless of whether attending the live event or watching the recorded version afterward. The cost is $75 a person.
