Brian Baughman

Brian Baughman is National Electrical Manufactures Association (NEMA) Midwest technical field representative. Baughman joined NEMA in March 2023 and has over 25 years of experience in the electrical industry. He currently holds a Wisconsin state master electrician license, Wisconsin state commercial electrical inspector certification and Wisconsin state UDC-electrical inspector certification. Prior to his tenure at NEMA, Baughman was the technical applications manager for Generac Power Systems Clean Energy Division and served as a committee member on National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 37, NFPA 70 (CMP-4), NFPA 78, NFPA 420, NFPA 1078, and the NFPA Professional Qualifications Correlating Committee. He is an industry-recognized expert on energy storage systems, on-site power production sources, distributed energy resources, and advanced electrification technologies. Baughman is a member of the IAEI, ICC, and NFPA and represents NEMA as an alternate on NFPA 70 CMP-4 and NFPA 70B.

Brian Deacy

Brian Deacy is the manager of codes and standards on the Industry Affairs Team at Atkore. He has a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering and a master’s degree in business administration. As part of the Industry Affairs Team, he is a member of various standards development committees for UL, CSA and NEAMA. Helps coordinate and manage product certifications projects with third party certification agencies including, Underwriters Laboratories Inc., Canadian Standards Association and Intertek (ETL). Has been representing the Vinyl Institute on Code Making Panel 8 since 2018 and has been representing the Copper Development Association Code making Panel 6 since 2020. He also represents NEMA on NFPA 90A/B. Prior to Joining Atkore in 2017 he was a field service representative for the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) for 11 years inspecting factories.

Vince Della Croce

Vince Della Croce is a business development manager of electrical inspectors for Siemens Smart Infrastructure USA. Licensed in Florida as a master electrician and Washington as an electrical administrator, he holds an Associate of Science degree in electronic engineering and electrical maintenance technology from Penn Foster College. Della Croce serves on NEC Code Making Panels 15 & 17 and is a technical committee member of NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace, NFPA 73 Electrical Inspection of Existing Dwellings, NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities, and NFPA 1078 Electrical Inspector Professional Qualifications.

Thomas A. Domitrovich

Thomas A. Domitrovich is a is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Pennsylvania and a LEED associate professional with Eaton’s electrical sector. Domitrovich has global codes and standards responsibilities for the electrical sector and industrial sector of Eaton, assists customers in the proper application of Eaton solutions to manufacturer instructions and codes and standards. Domitrovich began his career in 1990 with Gilbert Commonwealth in Reading, Pennsylvania, as an electrical engineer working in industrial power systems, fossil and nuclear power generation power distribution systems analysis and design. Domitrovich joined Eaton Corporation in 1996 and has held various roles within Eaton including power quality and residential products working with customers on system solutions for construction of industrial, commercial and residential power systems. Domitrovich manages engineers focused on overcurrent and over voltage protection, safety, codes and standards. He is an active member of various organizations including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, International Association of Electrical Inspectors, NFPA, NEMA and others.  

Jeff Fecteau

Jeff Fecteau represents UL Solutions Codes and Regulatory Services as a senior regulatory engineer. Fecteau has been a combat engineer in the United States Army. He was a commercial/industrial electrician in the Phoenix, Arizona, and Springfield, Illinois, areas. He worked for the city of Peoria, Arizona, as a combination dwelling inspector and was promoted to senior electrical inspector. He was a building inspector III for the city of Bloomington, Illinois. He was the NEMA Midwest field representative until he accepted a position with UL as a staff engineer associate. In 2013 he was promoted to senior regulatory engineer and in 2018, Fecteau was inducted into the UL Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in the William Henry Merrill Society. Currently,  Fecteau represents UL as a code panel member for the NEC on CMP 8 (previously a member of CMP 9), as well as on NFPA 70B (Standard for Electrical Equipment Maintenance). Lastly, Fecteau is a certified building official, Certified electrical code official and currently maintains 23 International Code Council inspection certifications.

Scott T. Higgins

Scott T. Higgins is a licensed master electrician with over 32 years of industry experience, including more than 20 years as an electrical inspector. He currently manages electrical inspections for the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry.

In addition to his leadership role, Higgins teaches electrical courses at the local JATC and delivers continuing education to electricians across Minnesota.

Higgins is an active member of the Minnesota Chapter of the IAEI. He has previously served as chapter president and membership chair, and he currently holds the role of education chair. Higgins represented the IAEI as the alternate to the chair on CMP-8 for the 2023 NEC cycle and now serves as a principal member on CMP-9 for the 2026 cycle. Additionally, he contributes to the NEC Correlating Committee’s High-Voltage Task Group and DC Task Group.

Dean Hunter

Dean Hunter is a licensed master electrician who has been active in the electrical industry for over 35 years. Before working with the Construction Codes and Licensing Division of the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry as their chief of electrical inspections, Hunter was an electrical contractor, project manager and an instructor for the construction electrician program at Minnesota State Technical College. Hunter is an active member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry (IAEI) and has served as an IAEI representative on CMP-7 during the last five NEC cycles and the Correlating Committee for the last two NEC cycles. Additionally, Hunter participates as a technical committee member on the UL Electrical Council and NFPA 501A.

Don Iverson

Don Iverson is the manager of industry codes and external relations for Schneider Electric. His responsibilities are to support code adoptions on a national level as well as various roles within the business. Previously, Iverson was the Midwest field representative for NEMA. He has worked in the electrical field for over 22 years as a field electrician, apprenticeship instructor and electrical Inspector. He also holds a state of Michigan electric masters and contractor’s license and is a registered code official as an electrical inspector. Iverson is currently a member of NFPA 915, CMP 3 2023 and 2026 representing Schneider Electric and past member of CMP 1 for the 2014, 2017 and 2020 NEC representing NEMA.

Chad Kennedy

Chad Kennedy is the director of industry standards for Schneider Electric. In this position, Kennedy is responsible for managing company activities relating to codes and standards for microgrids, energy storage, electrical vehicles, renewable energies, energy management and power equipment products. Kennedy is a member of NFPA, serving on the NEC Correlating Committee, Code-Making Panels 13 and 15, NFPA 855 Installation of Energy Storage Systems, NFPA 3 and 4 Commissioning of Fire and Life Safety Systems and NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code Electrical Systems and Correlating Committee. He also participates on the NFPA Advisory Committee on Electrical Safety Research and is active in UL, NEMA and IEEE technical committees associated with power equipment standards, application and design.  

Kyle Krueger

Kyle Krueger is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the electrical industry. From his beginnings as a journeyman wireman to his current role as the executive director of codes and standards for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), Krueger holds a master electrician license, commercial electrical inspector license, and design engineer of electrical systems, he is also certified thru NFPA as a certified electrical safety compliance professional (CESCP). Additionally, he represents NECA on the National Electrical Code Corelating Committee (NEC-AAC) and Code Making Panel-3. Krueger serves on NFPA’s Electrical Section Executive Board and as the secretary of NECA’s Codes and Standards Committee. Krueger continues to support the electrical industry an active member of NFPA, IAEI, ANSI, IEEE, SES, and the IBEW.

John McCamish

John McCamish has been involved in the electrical industry for 35 years. After graduating from the University of Oregon, he pursued a career in the electrical industry, first as an apprentice, then as a journeyman, and then as a foreman. He has instructed apprentice and journey-level electrical workers across the entire electrical trade. McCamish has served multiple cycles on the Fundamentals Technical Committed for NFPA 72: The National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, Code Making Panel 2 of the National Electrical Code and is now a principal member of CMP-17 of the NEC. He holds master electrician licenses in Oregon and Texas.  He currently is a codes and standards specialist for Eaton.

Dan Neeser

Dan Neeser is a field application engineer with Eaton’s Bussmann Division. He had been with Eaton (Cutler-Hammer and Bussmann) since 1993 and specializes in the design and application of overcurrent protective devices and equipment in electrical distribution systems in accordance with the NEC and equipment in accordance with the various product standards. He participates in IEEE (senior member), NEMA, NFPA (NEC CMP-1 and CMP-13 and NFPA 79), UL (508/60947, 508A) and IAEI activities.

Gerald J. O’Connor

Gerald J. O’Connor serves as the technical marketing engineer – codes and standards specialist at Eaton Corporation, where he leads strategic initiatives in electrical code development, standards advocacy and technical training. In this role, he represents Eaton on key UL and NFPA technical committees, helping shape the future of electrical safety and compliance across North America.

O’Connor plays a pivotal role in strengthening Eaton’s engagement with regulatory bodies, manufacturers and inspection authorities. His leadership in national code-making efforts includes serving as a principal on NEC Code-Making Panel 18 (2026) and previously as an Alternate on NEC CMP-16 (2023), representing both Eaton and the IAEI.

In addition, O’Connor contributes to the development of several UL Standards, including UL 414, UL 916, UL 1699, and UL 3141. He is also actively involved in the creation and refinement of NFPA 78 and NFPA 1078, which establish best practices and professional qualifications for electrical inspectors nationwide.

David Williams

David Williams is an electrical inspector and instructor in Delta Township, Michigan.

Williams is a master electrician and certified electrical inspector – master (CEI-M) with extensive experience in electrical inspection, safety and education. He has served on several NEC code-making panels, including CMP-5 for the 2008, 2011 and 2014 NEC; chair of CMP-7 for the 2017 NEC; and CMP-10 and the NEC Correlating Committee for the 2020, 2023, 2026 and 2029 editions.

Williams serves on the UL Electrical Council and is the Secretary of the IAEI Michigan Chapter. He is a former international chairman of the IAEI Board of Directors (2022 – 2023) and a past president of both the IAEI Michigan Chapter and the Western Section.

He has been an adjunct faculty member at Lansing Community College since 1995, teaching and mentoring future electrical professionals.
