Employees have the right to file complaints about workplace safety and health hazards. Complainants also have the right to request their names not be revealed to their employers. Complaints from employees and their representatives are taken seriously by OSHA.

Discrimination and retaliation complaints

Minnesota OSHA Compliance, Discrimination, staff members are available to discuss your employment situation if you believe your employer retaliated against you for:

  • making a safety or health complaint; 

  • reporting a workplace injury; or

  • complaining to OSHA.
