Safe and healthy workplaces are what make our economy and communities strong, and it's important Minnesotans understand their workplace rights and are empowered to assert those rights.

Highlights from 2026

• DLI staff members visited more than 1,500 business visits across Minnesota to share information about workplace rights.

• Staff members also connected with workers and employers by meeting with more than 75 community organizations statewide.

• DLI staff members visited 1,470 worksites across the state to share information about workplace rights.

• Mobile clinics were hosted to answer in-person questions from workers and employers.

• Events were held in partnership with 13 community groups, chambers of commerce, CareerForce centers and libraries.

• A Facebook Live Q&A aired on Sept. 24, 2025.

Highlights from 2024

In 2024, DLI launched the first-ever Workplace Rights Week, during which staff visited more than 1,000 worksites in 29 cities, hosted webinars with partners and joined Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan at a worksite event to raise awareness of workplace rights in Minnesota.
