About Workplace Rights Week 

Workplace Rights Week is Minnesota’s annual campaign to inform workers and employers about workplace rights, protections and responsibilities. Through events, resources and outreach, the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI) empowers Minnesotans to know their rights and helps create equitable, healthy and safe workplaces for all.

When 

Workplace Rights Week runs from Sept. 13-19, 2026. Throughout the week, DLI will be sharing events, resources and information about workplace rights across Minnesota. 

How to use this toolkit 

  • Share posts, graphics and videos across your social channels. 

  • Tag DLI’s account (@mndli, facebook.com/mndli, instangram.com/minnesotadli or linkedin.com/company/mndli). 

  • Use our official hashtags. 

  • Customize captions with your organization’s voice or specific calls to action. 

  • Schedule posts in advance or post live during Workplace Rights Week. 

  • Encourage your community to join events, ask questions and share their stories.
